Over the past decade, Groundwork Market Garden has grown from a vacant urban lot into a productive farm & community gathering place that produces thousands of pounds of USDA Certified Organic food each year, supports local farmers, expands access to fresh food, and creates opportunities for neighbors to connect, learn, and thrive.Owners Mayda Pozantides & Anders Gunnersen, along with the helping hands of many family, friends, staff, volunteers, student interns, have proven that when people & planet are treated with care, everybody wins.
This special event will celebrate the first 10 years of Groundwork Market Garden, introduce guests to the work and vision of Fare Share WNY, and raise funds for the construction of a new pole barn at the farm. The new pole barn will provide a permanent space for farmers markets, community events, educational programs, food distribution, and neighborhood gatherings for years to come.
Whether you have been with us from the beginning or are just learning about our work, we invite you to celebrate this milestone and help us build what comes next.
Together, we are growing much more than food. We are growing community care, a better Buffalo, & GOOD FOOD for ALL.
