About this Event
Event Description: Explore fall bird migration at Otter Mound Preserve, a small preserve within the developed landscape of Marco Island. Learn why this habitat is an important stopover for migratory birds as we stroll the preserve and look for species passing through. Sightings are not guaranteed, but this timing has produced migrant sightings in previous years. Factors like weather, temperature, wind and more determine if there will be an influx of migratory species on each day.
