About this Event
Storytelling is an innate part of human nature, and has been at the epicentre of the ways in which we cultivate community, culture and how we pass on our heritage to those who come after us.
Folklore often acts as a vessel to bestow wisdom and pass knowledge down, building bridges between generations through oral storytelling.
This exhibition explores both historical and contemporary interpretations of folklore. Some of the works illustrate tales that haven’t changed tune in hundreds of years, while others re-imagine familiar stories through a new lens.
Agora’s third on-site exhibition features the work of forty-eight artists creating both within Scotland and beyond, showcasing stories from across the seas.
We are delighted to showcase these stories all together with you.
