IMPORTANT: The Floyd Bennett Field! Public Arts Festival remains free and open to all. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the community dinner atmosphere and projection mapping art experience without registration. Reserved seating for The Longest Table is currently sold out.
Gather with friends, family, and neighbors for The Longest Table, a free community dinner experience at the Floyd Bennett Field! Public Arts Festival. Open to all ages.
Reserve seats for 1–8 people at a shared table, or gather a group and sit together on the lawn. JBRPC provides the tables, chairs, and tablecloths—you bring your favorite picnic dinner, beverages, and any creative table decorations you'd like to add.
Inspired by the tradition of communal dining, The Longest Table transforms Floyd Bennett Field into one giant outdoor gathering place where hundreds of people can share a meal, meet new people, and celebrate together.
As the sun sets, enjoy good food and great conversation before the evening transitions into a spectacular outdoor art experience. Historic Hangars 3 & 4 will become the canvas for newly commissioned projection-mapped artworks, filling the monumental façades with color, motion, sound, and storytelling.
Schedule
- 6:00–7:30pm: Community dining on the Hangar Lawn
- 7:30–9:30pm: Projection Mapping on Hangars 3 & 4
Please arrive between 6:00 and 6:30pm. If you are registered for seats at The Longest Table, check in at the JBRPC Event Table. Unclaimed reserved seats will be released after 6:30pm and offered to guests on the waitlist.
Visitors without reservations may sign up for the waitlist for seats at The Longest Table at the JBRPC Event Table between 6:00 and 6:30pm and should return at 6:30pm to see if reserved seating has become available.
