Join us for a guided flower finder hike at Hidden Pond Preserve, one of Orange County’s Green PLACE properties, on Saturday, April 3, 2027, at 8:30 a.m. Put your observational skills to the test on this early morning springtime hike. Search for blooming wildflowers along our trails and scratch them off your flower finder sheet as you discover them. Complete your flower finder sheet by the end of the hike to earn a special prize while learning about the native Florida wildflowers that reside at Hidden Pond Preserve.
As part of the inaugural Green PLACE Hiking Spree, attending the “Flower Finder Hike” will help you get closer to earning rewards for hiking Green PLACE properties. The event runs from National Public Lands Day on September 26, 2026, to Earth Day on April 22, 2027. The Green PLACE Hiking Spree is a great way to discover the remarkable variety of landscapes, plants and wildlife of Orange County.
