About this Event
We’ll meet at Square One Ranch pavilion at 9:00 AM ET
Access to the property is via Square One Ranch, 10110 REO Hinton Ave, Lake Placid, FL
Our host, Mr. Gerry Arsenault, acquired the ranch in 2013 and immediately began learning all he could about wildlife habitat restoration and management. He is putting this information to work at AP Ranch and has transformed the property into outstanding habitat for ducks, wading birds, Bobwhite quail, Osceola turkey, Florida panther, white-tailed deer, gopher tortoise, and many others. AP Ranch is protected with a conservation easement held by Conservation Florida and is enrolled in the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Florida Panther Payment for Ecosystem Services Pilot Program.
Join us for a tour of AP Ranch to learn about habitat management and the conservation benefits that Florida ranchlands can provide. Lunch included.
Register online by Friday, October 9. Space is limited so register soon!
