The 2022 Florida Equine Institute will feature the following topics instructed by University of Florida Equine Experts during a full day event in Horse Capital of the World, Ocala, Florida:

• Live Demo- Dive into the equine stomach to take a look at gastric ulcers & their management.
• Live Demo- Training using equine behavior as your guide.
• Pesky Parasites- Learn about the parasites affecting your horses both internally and externally.
• Equine Nutrition- Let's build feed rations! We will explore many scenarios and determine nutrient needs on a horse by horse basis.
• Breakout sessions- Equine first aid (common supplies to keep, how to check temperature, respiration, and pulse), Trailer maintenance & safe hauling, Hay types for horses in Florida.
• Equine Expert panel- Have an opportunity to have your questions answered by a panel of equine experts.
