What can horses teach us about the nervous system?Horses are flight animals, which means they have an incredible sensitivity to stress, safety and the environment around them. And when we learn to understand their nervous systems, we can start to notice things about our own.
On November 14, I’m inviting you out to the barn for a hands-on class exploring the horse-human nervous system connection.
We’ll work with the horses on the ground (no riding!), learn some foundational principles of working with horses, explore how horses experience stress and regulation, and discover what we can learn from their unique perspective as flight animals.
There will be horses, hay, dirt, nervous system education and plenty of time to connect.
Come hang out with me at the farm in Liberty Hill for a different kind of nervous system class.
