About this Event

***For Flame Fastpitch Players only! Any players whose home high school will reside at Eastlake High School must be in 6th grade or below.

1) When:

*Pitching: December 21st, 23rd, 28th and 30th
10U: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
12U & 14U: 11:00 AM-12:00 PM

*Catching: December 28th and 30rd
10U: 10:00 AM-11:00 AM
12U & 14U: 11:00 AM-12:00 PM

3) What:
PITCHING:

  • 10U: Pitchers will build a strong foundation on the mound in a fun, supportive environment. Players will work on proper pitching mechanics starting with basic pitching fundamentals, balance and body control, grip development and accuracy. Pitchers will also learn mental aspects of the game such as: Embracing competition, routines, mental toughness and goal setting.
  • 12U & 14U: This session is designed for players who already understand the basics of pitching and are ready to refine their skills and compete with greater consistency. Athletes will focus on advanced throwing mechanics, command and location, pitch sequencing, velocity development, balance and lower-body engagement, and improving mound presence. Coaches will also work on developing and strengthening secondary pitches.

**All pitchers will be required to bring their own catcher.

CATCHING:

  • 10U: This session will focus on building strong fundamentals and confidence behind the plate. Catchers will learn proper stance and setup, receiving and framing techniques, blocking fundamentals, and efficient footwork for throwing to bases. Coaches will introduce proper transfer mechanics and throw-down technique while emphasizing accuracy, quickness, and body control. Athletes will work through age-appropriate drills designed to develop solid habits and a strong foundation for continued growth at the catching position.
  • 12U & 14U: Catchers will build on fundamental skills while introducing more advanced, game-speed catching techniques. Catchers will work on advanced receiving and framing, blocking and recovery, quick transfers, footwork, and throw-downs to multiple bases. Coaches will emphasize improving pop time, throwing accuracy, and efficiency behind the plate while working through realistic game situations. Athletes will also develop skills in pitch presentation, controlling the running game, and becoming a more confident and effective presence behind the plate.

MEET YOUR COACHES!

PITCHING:

Stephanie Bailey:

Stephanie has served as the Head Fastpitch Coach at Eastlake for nine seasons. During her tenure, the Wolves captured the KingCo Championships in 2018 and 2019, finished second at the WesKing District Tournament in 2019, and advanced to the WIAA State Tournament in both 2018 and 2019. Stephanie was named KingCo Coach of the Year in 2018, 2024, and 2025.

A proud Eastlake High School graduate, Stephanie played for the Wolves from 2005–2008, where she earned First Team All-KingCo Utility player as a sophomore, First Team Shortstop as a junior, and First Team Pitcher as a senior, when she was also named KingCo MVP. In 2008, she was additionally recognized as a First Team All-State pitcher and helped lead Eastlake to the WIAA Fastpitch State Championship.

Stephanie continued her softball career at Western Washington University (2009–2012) as a pitcher and middle infielder. She served as team captain during her junior and senior seasons and earned First Team All GNAC as a pitcher in her senior year. She also still holds the program record for most consecutive scoreless innings pitched.

Kaelani Randle:

Texas Southern University pitcher and Skyline High School Alum, Kaelani Randle brings high-level competitive experience and a passion for developing young athletes to every lesson. A standout throughout her softball career, Kaelani placed 4th in the state during her 2022 high school season and earned 1st Team All-KingCo Pitcher honors in 2023. In 2024, she competed internationally as a member of the Philippines National Softball Team.

At Texas Southern University, Kaelani was recognized as the team’s Most Improved Player in 2025, and helped lead her team to a 3rd place conference finish in 2026 as a current Division I pitcher.

In addition to her playing accomplishments, Kaelani has over 5 years of experience working with young pitchers through private instruction. She is passionate about helping athletes build confidence, develop strong mechanics, increase velocity and spin, and grow their love for the game in a positive, encouraging environment.

CATCHING:

Heather Lloyd:

Heather is a freshman catcher/outfielder for Yale University Softball and a 2026 graduate of Eastlake High School in Sammamish, Washington. A four-year varsity player for the Wolves, Heather developed into one of the top players in the KingCo 4A conference, serving as team captain her senior season and earning First Team All-State honors and KingCo Offensive MVP in 2026. Her high school honors also include First Team All-KingCo (2024), Second Team All-KingCo (2025), All-KingCo Honorable Mention (2023), Eastlake's Golden Glove Award (2023), and Golden Bat Award (2026).

Heather also competed at the national club level with ai Bandits Breer, playing catcher and outfield. She helped the Bandits earn a Top-10 finish at Alliance Nationals in 2024, was selected as a Colorado Sparkler All-American in 2024, and was named to the Alliance/Northwest Fastpitch League All-Star ranks in 2026. During the summer of 2024, she hit .380 with a 1.106 OPS, while her 2024 Eastlake season included a .429 batting average, 1.437 OPS and eight home runs.

Behind the plate, Heather brings years of high-level catching experience along with the athleticism to play multiple positions. Her development as a catcher and hitter ultimately led to her commitment to NCAA Division I Yale University, where she joined the Bulldogs' 2026–27 freshman class as a catcher/outfielder.

Nazli Chavez:

Nazli Chavez is a catcher for Western Washington University Softball and a 2025 graduate of Skyline High School in Sammamish, Washington. A four-year varsity starter at Skyline, Nazli earned All-KingCo honors all four years and served as a two-year team captain. As a freshman, she helped Skyline to a 4th-place finish at the WIAA 4A State Tournament, earning All-KingCo Honorable Mention recognition, and she went on to set Skyline's single-season doubles record with 14 during her high school career.

Nazli also competed at the elite club level with ai Bandits Breer, primarily as a catcher. Following her Skyline career, she continued on to NCAA Division II Western Washington University, where she made an immediate impact as a freshman. In her first collegiate season, Nazli appeared in 38 games with 22 starts and was named to the GNAC Championship All-Tournament Team. She started all five games of the conference tournament, recording four hits, three runs, a double, two RBI, and her first collegiate home run.

Nazli brings extensive experience behind the plate at the high school, elite travel-ball, and collegiate levels, making her an excellent resource for young catchers looking to develop their receiving, blocking, footwork, throwing mechanics, and overall presence behind the plate.
