By popular demand, learn how to make a rag quilt fitting of our 250th birthday as a nation.Prerequisites: Basic sewing skills (you know how to thread your machine and make a straight stitch) and access to a sewing machine that you can bring to class. A walking foot is highly recommended.
You will also need a pair of rag scissors. These are short-bladed scissors that you’ll need to create the ragging effect. I used Kai N5150 available on-line from Shabby Fabrics.
Cost: $125 for both classes. Pre-cut fabric is included in the cost.
Session #1 (Nov 21st at 2:00):
• Sew quilt pieces
Session #2 (Dec 12th at 10:30)
• Assemble pieces and start the cutting process
