29 November is the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. Let's make it known and join us to drop a giant Palestinian flag off the Victoria Bridge. We will meet at 3pm at Reddacliff Place in the city. Bring your flags!This will be the 49th anniversary of the 1977 UN Resolution 32/40 B, which called for the annual observance of 29th November as the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
It will also be the 79th anniversary of the 1947 UN Resolution 181 (II), which provided for the partition of Palestine to create the State of Israel.
As the genocide in Palestine continues we are calling on our government to cut all ties with Israel. In the face of adversity we do not back down, we rise, time and time again and we are fuelled by the ongoing Palestinian resistance.
