About this Event
Every fall/winter community members (just like you) help us refurbish kids bikes at Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop in time for Christmas.
Those bikes are then distributed to low-income children and families through a partnership with our local Everett charity, Christmas house. It's a fun, social, and educational atmosphere full of kind-hearted folks in a great community that's centered around helping others through cycling year-round.
If you want to connect with people this holiday season, learn about bicycle maintenance and repair through free hands-on instruction, teach your kids how to work on bikes just like theirs, and build useful problem-solving skills, all while making a difference in the lives of countless kiddos in need, come join us! We would love to see you there.
No mechanical experience is required! This is an absolute beginner and family-friendly event. Bring your kids and learn how to work on bikes!
- Snacks will be provided at no charge.
- All tools, parts, and materials provided.
- Maximum of 6 participants per event to ensure that everyone has adequate access to instructor time as needed. Please register in advance. Unregistered volunteers will be turned away at the door.
