This five week course will introduce you to a variety of ceramic techniques including learning to throw at the wheel, turning, slab building, slip casting, tile making and coil pot with a decorative border. You will have the opportunity to work with different clay bodies and learn which type is most suited to particular methods of working.
Some final pieces can be decorated with oxides and carbonates or glazes depending on the type of clay and the best way to bring out their qualities.
