About this Event
Join and as we celebrate one of our own!
Dr. Kristina Pinto, a member of our Run Rx community, is releasing her new book, . Kristina is a clinical psychologist, certified yoga instructor, running coach and 16-time marathoner. Author of Fit & Healthy Pregnancy (Velo Press) and numerous articles, she specializes in gender-informed neuropsychological evaluations and psychotherapy focused on the brain-body connection. We're proud to host her launch right here in the clinic she works with!
Her new book looks at the physical and mental changes that can affect running and fitness during perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. It treats the second half of life as a chance to grow, not a finish line.
Come hear Kristina talk about the book and her biggest takeaways. Then stay for a Q&A with Kristina, pelvic health specialist Christina Seng, PT, of The Pilates Rx and CSCS/Physical Therapist Dr. Gabby Callagy of The Run Rx. It's a chance to get expert answers on running, strength, pelvic health, and staying active through this stage of life.
Before the talk we will also host an optional (and limited to only 8!) Pilates Mat Class before the main event begins at 9! See Details below.
Schedule, Sunday, November 8
