Whether you're an experienced angler or a first-time fisher, come discover the East River's catch of the day!About this Event
Learn the basics of rod and reel fishing and help us collect valuable data to support conservation efforts in the East River! All materials will be provided at this FREE fishing clinic.
Who: All Ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Where: Fishing Clinics will take place at Gantry Plaza State Park on the Fishing Pier (Pier 4) by the intersection of Center Blvd and 50th Ave.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Registration is highly recommended for all participants to secure your space in the program. Please reserve one ticket per fishing rod. To allow space for as many people as possible, we ask that you please only register for one session per program.
- If we do not hear from you 10 minutes into the program, we will release your reservation to walk-up participants.
- If the program is sold out, but you still wish to attend, we encourage you to walk up and see if space is available.
- In the case of inclement weather, the program may be rescheduled or canceled. Please be sure to check your email a few hours before the program starts.
