What to expect
This session will provide practical guidance on CACFP guidelines and regulations, with a focus on essential topics such as meal patterns, menu planning, and record-keeping. Participants will learn strategies for serving nutritious, well-balanced meals, encouraging healthy eating habits in children, and incorporating more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into daily menus. We will also discuss accommodating dietary needs and managing food costs and waste efficiently.
