Curious about pottery? This fun and beginner-friendly introduction is the perfect way to experience the pottery wheel in a relaxed, welcoming studio. Whether you’re looking for a creative night out, a unique date idea, or simply want to try something new, this one-time workshop offers the chance to slow down, get your hands muddy, and discover the joy of making with clay.After a brief demonstration from your instructor, you’ll jump on the wheel and begin throwing your own pottery. Throughout the 90-minute session, you’ll receive personalized guidance as you experiment with centering, shaping clay, and creating a few simple forms while getting a feel for the wheel.
At the end of class, all clay is recycled—unless you create a piece you’d love to keep!
For $20 per piece, we’ll trim, glaze, and fire your favorite creation so it’s ready to enjoy at home. Before you leave, you’ll choose your glaze color, and your finished pottery will be ready for pickup in approximately 3–5 weeks.
No experience is necessary. Just bring your curiosity and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little muddy.
