We're celebrating the new year with a very special First Saturday Blues featuring Lila Faria and Dillon Arevalo all the way from Seattle!Lila (she/her) and Dillon (he/him) have been dancing Blues for a collective 25 years, and other styles of partner dance for over 35. They both carry education degrees from prestigious universities, have taught dance across the West Coast from Washington to California, and continue their training as active members of the larger global Blues dance community to this day. Together, they have studied with some of the most prominent Blues dance instructors across the U.S. As a teaching pair they focus on intertwining connection, partnership, and playfulness with the rich and complicated history of Blues dance.
