😊 EVERYONE IS WELCOME! You DO NOT have to be a First Responder to attend.
⛑️ First Responders for Christ (FRFC) was created by Pastors Doug and Michelle Higgins. “For years, we have both served as First Responders in our community. As first responders, we understand what it means to answer a call. As Christians, we also understand the call Jesus gave His followers in the Great Commission—to go, make disciples, and teach others what He commanded in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20).” —-Doug Higgins

🚨 And while FRFC was started by First Responders, it NOT only FOR First Responders. Whether you're a healthcare worker, teacher, business owner, student, retiree, neighbor, or simply someone who wants to learn more about the Bible—there is a place for you here!

📖 Maybe you've never opened a Bible.
⛪️ Maybe you used to attend church but haven't in years.
💙Maybe you've been a Christian for decades.
🙋🏻♀️Maybe you have questions and simply don't know where to begin.
😊 Our first evening will be a relaxed Meet & Greet—a chance to meet one another, share a cup of coffee, hear the vision behind First Responders for Christ and Back to Basics Christian Church, learn what our Bible studies will look like, and spend some time together in God's Word.
✝️ WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?
⛪️ We are a non-denominational Christian ministry, but we also believe people should know what we teach before they attend.
📖 The Bible is our foundation and final authority. 2 Timothy 3:16
⏩ We do NOT change Scripture to fit cultural trends, and we do NOT teach our personal opinions or denominational traditions. We teach what the Bible says.
We believe:
👉 There is one God, eternally existing in three Persons—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.--
Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
👉 Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, and salvation is found through Him.
John 1:1, 14; John 14:6, Philippians 2:6-7
👉 Salvation is by God's GRACE through FAITH in Jesus Christ—NOT something we earn through any works. Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10

✝️ God's design for marriage is the covenant union of one man and one woman. Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6
We believe we can stand firmly on Scripture while treating ALL people with kindness, dignity, and respect.
💟 You don't have to know the Bible to attend. You don't have to have everything figured out. And you don't have to agree with us on everything to walk through the door. Come. Listen. Open the Bible with us.
⏩ WHERE WE ARE HEADED
**Back to Basics Christian Church is praying for a permanent building where we can house our ministry items, continue our Bible studies, serve our community, and eventually hold regular church services.
❤️ We are EXTREMELY GRATEFUL to Harvey's Lake Fire Co. for "ANSWERING THE CALL" to open their facility to us so we can begin our Bible studies. Their generosity has given us a place to get started while we continue praying for God to provide a permanent location for our ministry.
📖 For now, we're starting with Bible study. These studies will help build a strong biblical foundation. As we grow, we are planning to add church services soon.
🛡️We don't need to wait until everything is perfect to begin, lets be honest, it NEVER will be. We know GOD HONORS MOVEMENT! We decided that while we are waiting for a building and as long as we have a place to gather, NOTHING is stopping us from bringing God's Word to the community. And that's exactly what we're going to do!
