Nobody tells you what to do the day your daughter gets her period, so this is a circle for us to support ourselves, and our daughters as they cross the threshold into womanhood.Applications are open for First Moon Circle — a year-long moon circle for mothers and daughters, built around the most under-ritualized moment in modern womanhood: her first period.
Twice a month, we gather with the moon. New moon: mothers only, doing our own unfinished business around womanhood. Full moon: daughters join, and we talk honestly about blood, bodies, and becoming — no euphemisms, no shame.
Every gathering includes something made by hand — watercolor, finger-knitting, whatever the season calls for. Members also get a private portal with gathering themes, resources, and a space to connect between sessions.
This isn't church. No doctrine, no scripture, nothing you're asked to believe — just ritual, in the sense of marking a threshold.
One year. 5 mother-daughter pairs. Held at an intimate residential venue. Application only — this is a container, not a class.
