About this Event

FIRST FRIDAY NOVEMBER 2026:
ART IN ACTION—WINTER SUPPLY DRIVE
WITH BRONX MUTUAL AID

Friday, November 7 • 6:00 – 8:00 PM • For All Ages
At The Bronx Museum (1040 Grand Concourse)
Free! (Donations are encouraged but not required)
• Drop-Ins Welcome

On the first Friday of every month, The Bronx Museum stays open late with a free community event! Our November 2026 First Friday is inspired by artist Alex Strada’s —a project presented by Storefront for Art & Architecture that shares the writings and drawings of people living and working in NYC shelters on official city signage.

In recognition of the power of artist projects like Public Address to build bridges, create empathy, and foster collective care, we are partnering with Bronx Mutual Aid to make this First Friday a winter essentials supply drive (see list of suggested items for donation below) benefiting New Yorkers in need.

Donations of winter essentials are encouraged but not required to attend First Friday, which includes complimentary refreshments and after-hours access to The Bronx Museum’s galleries and exhibitions, including Public Address.

You can also bring winter essentials donations to Storefront for Art and Architecture, located at 97 Kenmare St, from Wednesday through Sunday, 12 to 6 PM, by Friday, November 6th.

Thank you to all who participate in supporting Bronx Mutual Aid!
