Faith and family are at the center of Christopher Larson's life and leadership. Raised in a Catholic home, Chris credits his Catholic faith as the animating force behind both his personal and professional journey. He and his wife are the proud parents of three children and are active members of the Communion of Saints in Cleveland Heights, where their faith continues to shape their commitment to service, community, and helping others flourish.
Chris brings more than 35 years of executive leadership experience in mission-driven organizations, including national, regional, and local leadership roles with City Year and El Barrio, Inc. Throughout his career, he has led organizational growth, developed high-performing teams, strengthened community partnerships, secured significant funding investments, and guided organizations through periods of change and transformation.
Chris holds a Master's degree in Management of Human Services from the University of Michigan School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy from Michigan State University.
As CEO of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland, Chris is committed to strengthening the organization's Catholic identity, investing in its people, and expanding its impact across Northeast Ohio.
