In partnership with Embassy of Angola in Australia, ACIA Inc and Coração do Kizomba Academy.
An evening celebrating the living culture of Angola, with Kizomba and Semba music and dance at its heart.
This gala evening invites you to dress up, come together and enjoy good music, good company and a little glamour.
The programme will include speeches from the Angolan Ambassador and honoured guests, with the amazing DJ Cue-T!
🩷 About Dj Cue-T:
Originally from Mauritius and now based in Brisbane, Cue-T’s DJ journey began through her love of Kizomba and Angolan music.
Her sets are rooted in Kizomba and Semba, blended with sounds from Cape Verde, the Caribbean and across Africa. Energetic and dance-floor driven, she creates sets that take listeners on a musical journey.
Since discovering Angola in 2024, Cue-T has returned multiple times, deepening her connection to its music and culture — an influence that continues to shape her sound behind the decks.
The evening will include:
⭐️ Kizomba & Semba dancing
⭐️ Light refreshments
⭐️ A special dance workshop
⭐️ DJ Cue-T on the decks
⭐️ Speeches and special guests, including the Angolan Ambassador and Embassy delegates
⭐️ A raffle
⭐️ Maybe a surprise to come!
Food and drinks will also be available for purchase throughout the evening.
