About this Event
First Coffee, PhotoWalk & Talk is a monthly gathering for photographers who want to slow down before they shoot and see the places they know well, just a bit differently
We start with coffee. A few minutes to arrive, settle in and meet the people walking with you. Then we head out together for a 90-minute observational walk through a different corner of the city each month, guided by a simple idea: See. Interpret. Create. Before you lift the camera, you learn to actually look...at light, at gesture, at the small moments most people walk past.
This isn't a technical workshop. There's no gear checklist, no rush to get "the shot." It's simply a chance to practice awareness alongside people with a shared passion. Then talk through what you noticed over a final coffee before we part ways.
Whether you're picking up a camera for the first time or you've been shooting for years and want to reconnect with why you started, this walk meets you where you are.
This month: Bryant Park Winter Village
Saturday, December 5 at 10:00am. Coffee, holiday lights and the Winter Village in full swing. The exact meeting spot will be sent to registered guests before the walk.
$5 to join + an optional tip after the walk
First Coffee is a community walk, priced to stay open to everyone. Your $5 holds your spot. At the end of the walk, if you found value in the morning, a tip for your guide is warmly welcomed. It's what keeps these walks going each month. Tip whatever feels right to you, and only if you're moved to.
