About this Event

Meet Alan Schaller, discover his new exhibition Life Reimagined, and take home a signed copy of his latest book, Street Safari.
To celebrate the opening of his new exhibition Life Reimagined at Leica Gallery Barcelona, acclaimed London-based photographer Alan Schaller will be at Leica Store & Gallery Barcelona on Saturday, 31 October at 11:00 am to sign copies of his latest book, Street Safari.
Street Safari is Alan Schaller's second monograph and a celebration of one of his lifelong photographic passions: animals in the urban landscape.
From pigeons and cats to dogs, horses, monkeys and more unexpected creatures, Street Safari explores the relationship between animals and the cities we share. Moving across continents and cultures, Alan applies the visual language that has become synonymous with his work: light, shadow, geometry and abstraction.
These black-and-white photographs transform everyday encounters into striking compositions, revealing moments of humour, tension and beauty in the lives of the animals around us. A love letter to animals as much as a celebration of observation, Street Safari explores the patterns, contrasts and surprises that make street photography so compelling.
Produced by Irys Publishing and printed to the highest standards by EBS in Italy, Street Safari is presented in a beautifully crafted hardback edition.
