About this Event
How do you turn family food traditions into a business that reaches beyond the neighbourhood? Join the Harvard Club of Québec for a fireside chat with Stefano Faita, part of our Entrepreneurship Series.
Stefano’s journey connects his family’s Quincaillerie Dante in Montreal’s Little Italy, teaching alongside his mother at Mezza Luna and a restaurant partnership with Michele Forgione. Their businesses include Impasto, Pizzeria Gema, Chez Tousignant and Vesta. In 2017, they brought their tomato sauces to grocery shelves. The Stefano range has since expanded to include pasta, frozen pizza and more.
His television work includes In the Kitchen with Stefano Faita, MasterChef Québec and MasterChef Junior Québec. The documentary series Stefano offers another perspective on the person behind the businesses.
The conversation will explore how he recognized opportunities, built a complementary partnership and adapted to the different demands of restaurants, media and retail. What needs to change as a business grows, and what should stay the same?
Harvard alumni, family and other friends of the club are welcome. Small bites and drinks will be served.
Our thanks to HUB International for hosting us at its Montreal offices and supporting the mission of the Harvard Club of Québec.
