Fireside Chat with Journalist Michael Bowman
Date & Time: October 13, 2026 at 6:30 PM (Eastern Time)
Location: Encova Auditorium, Brad D Smith Center for Business and Innovation
Join us for an engaging conversation with Michael Bowman, one of the most talked-about names in independent journalism and a rising star in West Virginia's media ecostystem. Despite millions of views and over 350,000 followers, much about his unconventional approach remains a mystery.
Hosted by Huntington native and community leader London Donahoe, this chat will dive into the future of journalism, concerns about integrity, and how new media is connecting with disengaged communities. Whether you’re a fan or a skeptic, come hear the “why” behind Bowman’s work and join the conversation with community leaders and students.
