Σας προσκαλούμε στη βραδιά ολοκλήρωσης της έκθεσης ‘The Future of the Past’, η οποία θα ξεκινήσει με μια performance ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής από την Ina Achilles, με την παρουσίαση της πρωτότυπης σύνθεσης ‘Aporia’, που δημιουργήθηκε με αφετηρία τους ήχους των κινητικών γλυπτών του Ανδρέα Καλλή. Η μουσική εμπειρία ακρόασης θα συνεχιστεί με ένα DJ set μέσα στον εκθεσιακό χώρο.

Για τη σύνθεση αυτή, η Achilles αντλεί ηχητικό υλικό απευθείας από το μηχανικό ηχοτοπίο της έκθεσης, μεταμορφώνοντας τους ρυθμούς και τις ηχοχρωματικές του ποιότητες σε έναν νέο τρόπο προσέγγισης και βίωσης των έργων μέσα στον εκθεσιακό χώρο. @mariastathip

Αντλώντας ήχους από τα κινητικά γλυπτά της έκθεσης ‘The Future of the Past’, η σύνθεση ‘Aporia’ εξερευνά την ένταση ανάμεσα στη σκληρότητα και την ευθραυστότητα.
Μια προσωπική αναζήτηση μετατοπίζεται σταδιακά προς το συλλογικό, αφήνοντας ανοιχτό το ερώτημα για το πού κατευθυνόμαστε.

Από το 2016, η Ina Achilles εξερευνά τον κόσμο της ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής μέσα από μια προσωπική διαδρομή δημιουργίας και πειραματισμού. Η καλλιτεχνική της πορεία περιλαμβάνει δισκογραφικές κυκλοφορίες και σύνθεση μουσικής για κινηματογράφο, ενώ μέσα από τις ζωντανές της εμφανίσεις συμμετέχει ενεργά στην κυπριακή σκηνή ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής.
Με παράλληλη δραστηριότητα στον σχεδιασμό ψηφιακών εμπειριών, η πρακτική της αποκτά ολοένα και πιο διεπιστημονικό χαρακτήρα, καθώς εμβαθύνει στον σχεδιασμό ήχου, τη ζωντανή ηλεκτρονική εκτέλεση και τη σύνδεσή τους με άλλες μορφές καλλιτεχνικής έκφρασης.

Join us for the closing evening of ‘The Future of the Past’, opening with a 10-minute electronic music performance by Ina Achilles, presenting ‘Aporia’, an original composition created in response to the sounds of Andreas Kalli’s kinetic sculptures. The evening listening experience will continue with a DJ set within the gallery space. @kalli_andreas
For this composition, Achilles draws directly from the exhibition’s mechanical soundscape, transforming its rhythms and timbres into a new way of experiencing the artworks within the gallery space. @mariastathip
“At the threshold between the familiar and the unknown, where memory encounters the uncertainty of tomorrow.”
Drawing on sounds from the kinetic sculptures featured in ‘The Future of the Past’, the composition ‘Aporia’ explores the tension between hardness and fragility.
A personal search gradually shifts towards the collective, leaving open the question of where we are heading.

Since 2016, Ina Achilles has been exploring the world of electronic music through a personal trajectory of creation and experimentation. Her artistic practice includes record releases and music composition for film, while through her live performances she remains actively engaged with Cyprus’s electronic music scene.
Alongside her work in digital experience design, her practice has become increasingly interdisciplinary, expanding into sound design, live electronic performance and their connection with other forms of artistic expression.
