Dismantle 'Role Suffocation' and burnout in our 'Finger Paint workshop, using tactile exploration to map your true life balance
About this Event

You're not broken. You're just suffocating under everyone else's expectations.

If you're a working woman—whether you're managing a team, running a business, or juggling both a career and motherhood—you know the feeling: you're crushing it at work, holding it together at home, and somewhere in the chaos, you disappeared.

You're not tired because you're doing too much. You're tired because you've forgotten who you are outside of what you do.

This isn't another workshop. It's permission to be a mess.

For 2 hours, we're stepping away from your phone, your to-do list, and the "Good Girl" mask. No networking. No lectures. No more performing.

Instead, you'll get your hands dirty—literally. By finger painting without rules, without judgment, and without trying to be perfect, you'll uncover the hidden patterns that are draining you: the over-functioning, the need for control, the belief that your worth depends on your productivity.

And here's what happens next: you'll leave with a single, concrete boundary you can implement this week. Not a 10-step plan. Not a journal full of insights. One real change that immediately shifts how you show up with your partner, your kids, your team, and yourself.

What You'll Actually Experience:

  • 120 minutes completely unplugged (phones collected—no exceptions)
  • A nervous system that finally feels safe instead of constantly on alert
  • Genuine laughter and connection with women who get it
  • A personalized micro-action to reclaim one piece of your life this week
  • A physical reminder to take home so you don't slip back into old patterns

Wear something you don't mind getting paint on. Bring a journal. Show up as you are.

?️ Spots are limited to keep this intimate and real.

Reserve your spot to step into recess and reclaim who you are.

Our August Experience features our signature theme: Finger Painting. Here is how our 4-step journey unfolds with your messy hands.

The Experience Agenda

Phase 1: Arrival & Settling In
  • What happens: You arrive, phones go into a basket (no judgment—we all need a break), and you settle onto a comfortable mat or towel. No name tags. No introductions. No performance.
  • Why: Your nervous system needs permission to relax before anything else happens. We're creating a space where you can just be.

Phase 2: Somatic Grounding Breath Work
  • What happens: Sitting comfortably, we guide you through slow, gentle breathing to calm your nervous system and bring you fully into the present moment. This isn't meditation—it's a reset button for your body.
  • Why: Most of you are in "fight-or-flight" mode. This brings you back to safety so the real work can happen.

Phase 3: The Mess
  • What happens: You'll finger paint—no brushes, no rules, no "right way." You can paint something beautiful, something ugly, something abstract, or something that makes no sense. The only rule: use your hands and let yourself play.
  • Why: When you bypass your thinking brain and use your hands, your body reveals what your mind has been hiding. Over-functioning, perfectionism, the need for control—it all shows up on the canvas. And you'll see it.

Phase 4: Silent Reflection & Journaling
  • What happens: After you clean your hands, you'll sit quietly with your journal and answer a few simple prompts about what came up for you during the painting. No sharing required. This is just for you.
  • Why: The breakthrough happens in the quiet. You don't need someone else's interpretation—you need space to understand your own.

Phase 5: Coaching Circle & Your Micro-Action
  • What happens: We'll gather in a circle. You'll hear from a few women who want to share what they discovered (sharing is optional—no pressure). Then, in a small group or one-on-one, you'll work with me to identify one concrete boundary or one "No" you're going to implement this week. That's it. One thing.
  • Why: Insights are worthless without action. You're leaving with something real you can do Monday morning.

Phase 6: Closing & Your Anchor
  • What happens: You'll receive a small, smooth stone or token to take home—a physical reminder of the boundary you just committed to. We'll do one final somatic grounding breath together, you'll retrieve your phone, and you'll head back into your week with something tangible.
  • Why: You need a reminder that this matters. When you're back in the chaos, that stone is your anchor.

What to Expect (Transparency)
  • No forced sharing. If you want to sit quietly and listen, that's perfect.
  • No judgment. Your painting doesn't need to be good. Your boundary doesn't need to be big.
  • No homework. You're implementing one micro-action this week—that's all.

What You'll Leave With
  • ✓ A calm nervous system (you'll feel the difference)
  • ✓ Clarity on one pattern that's been draining you
  • ✓ One concrete boundary to implement this week
  • ✓ A physical anchor to remind you of your commitment
  • ✓ Permission to stop performing and start living

What to Wear & Bring (Indoor Prep):
  • What to Wear: Wear comfortable clothing that you are completely okay getting paint on. While our finger paints are non-toxic and washable, this is a hands-on, boundary-breaking lab designed to let you play without worrying about a mess. Think old t-shirts, cozy loungewear, or activewear that doesn't mind a stray splash of color.
  • What to Bring: Bring a standard yoga mat or a large towel to sit comfortably on the floor during our coaching circle.
  • The Journaling Requirement: Please bring a physical journal or notebook and a pen. You will want this to capture your immediate breakthroughs and map out your custom integration blueprint during the structural coaching segment.
  • A Note on Technology: Because this is a strict screen-free sanctuary, you will be asked to put your phone on do not disturb and keep it out of sight. Plan accordingly so you can completely unplug for the full 120 minutes.
