A pose is more than the shape it makes. What matters is why we're doing it in the first place.
In this two-hour workshop, we’ll slow down and explore foundational LYT poses with an emphasis on the why behind each one.
You’ll learn:
• What makes LYT poses different from their traditional yoga counterparts
• Which muscles should be working and where you should feel each pose
• What movement pattern each pose is designed to build
• How alignment supports strength, stability, mobility, and better posture
• Why small adjustments can completely change how a pose functions
• How the work you do in class translates to movement in everyday life
You’ll have time to:
• Break down foundational poses step by step
• Ask questions
• Explore modifications
• Receive individualized feedback
• Fine-tune your technique and body awareness
This workshop is ideal for students who are new to LYT as well as longtime practitioners ready to deepen their understanding and get more from every class.
The goal isn’t to perfect the shape. It’s to understand its purpose.
