FINDING CONNECTION 💛Brazilian Zouk Weekender.
Let’s give a bigggggg welcome to Gui Prada! 💛🥳
We’re so excited to welcome Gui to Boston for a special weekend of Brazilian Zouk, learning, connection, and, of course, dancing together!
Gui started his partner dance journey in 2004 and trained for six years at Jaime Aroxa Dance Studio in Rio de Janeiro. With experience across several partner dance styles, he developed a multidisciplinary approach that goes beyond steps and technique.
Since moving to the US in 2017, Gui has taught Brazilian Zouk locally and internationally, sharing his work through workshops and programs focused on comfortable fundamentals, the embrace, and the physical and mental aspects of connection.
This weekender is an invitation to explore what makes our dance feel good, refine our foundations, and discover how small details can transform the way we connect with our partners.
Two days to learn, exchange, connect, and enjoy the dance together. 💛

💛 COMMUNITY & GOOD VIBES
We want this weekender to be a welcoming space where everyone can learn, explore, make mistakes, ask questions, and enjoy the dance.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, background, body type, or dance experience.
🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️ LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive.
🤝 Respect
Let’s treat each other with kindness and respect. Please respect everyone’s name, pronouns, gender identity, and the language they feel comfortable using.
💛 Consent & Comfort
Partner dancing is a connected and physical art form. Communication and respect for each other’s comfort are essential. A simple “no” or “not right now” is always okay.
🌱 Different Levels, Same Community
Everyone is on their own dance journey. Let’s respect different learning processes, support each other, and celebrate progress without comparison.
✨ Take Care of Each Other
Be mindful of your partner, the people around you, and the shared space. Help us create an environment where people feel safe and comfortable being themselves.
🫶🏽 If Something Doesn’t Feel Right
Please reach out to Sami if you feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or need support during the event. I’m here to listen and help.
Most importantly, come as you are, stay curious, and let’s create the kind of dance community we want to be part of. 💛
