Find calm this holiday season with a 3-part mindfulness series featuring guided practices and tools for everyday life.
About this Event

This is your invitation to slow down.

The holiday season can bring joy and connection—and a calendar full of commitments that leaves little time for yourself. Finding Calm in the Chaos is a three-part beginner mindfulness series offering space to pause, reconnect, and discover practical ways to bring more presence into everyday life.

Join Melissa Carver, certified mindfulness coach and founder of Satsang Yoga & Wellness, for three welcoming evenings at The Well: A Center For Wellness. In a cozy, relaxed setting, we’ll explore mindfulness through guided practices, approachable teaching, journaling, and conversation.

No meditation or yoga experience is needed. You don’t need to clear your mind or arrive feeling calm. Come as you are.

What We’ll Explore

November 30 — Coming Home to the Present
Discover what mindfulness is, recognize moments of autopilot, and explore beginner’s mind. Practice noticing your thoughts, feelings, body, and surroundings with curiosity rather than judgment.

December 7 — The Power of the Pause
Recognize emotional triggers and the ways stress shows up in your body. Practice simple tools for pausing, acknowledging what you feel, and responding thoughtfully rather than reacting automatically.

December 14 — Living Mindfully, Living Intentionally
Bring mindfulness into daily routines and relationships through mindful listening, self-compassion, and small, intentional choices. Begin creating a personal practice that fits your life.

What’s Included
  • Three 90-minute interactive sessions.
  • Guided mindfulness and meditation practices.
  • A participant workbook with journaling prompts.
  • Practical tools to try between sessions and beyond.
  • Opportunities for connection and optional group sharing.

We’ll explore practices such as sensory awareness, mindful eating, grounding, and meditation. Between sessions, you’ll receive gentle invitations to notice your emotional responses and practice being fully present while doing something you enjoy.

Practices can be adapted to your comfort, and sharing is always optional.
