Discover the benefits of yoga through a practice that strengthens the body, calms the mind, and relieves everyday stress.
Join the Livingston Public Library for a monthly yoga session led by Livingston-based certified instructor Yuka Sakyo and experience the restorative power of mindful movement.
This Open Level Vinyasa Flow class links yoga poses (asanas) with breath in a gentle, flowing sequence designed to improve flexibility, build strength, and encourage relaxation. Sessions include mindful movement, traditional breathing techniques (pranayama), and inspiring music to help deepen the mind–body connection and release tension.
All levels are welcome—no prior yoga experience is required. Modifications and variations will be offered so participants can practice safely and comfortably at their own pace.
You’ll leave each session feeling balanced, refreshed, and renewed.
Yuka Sakyo has been practicing yoga for more than 17 years and teaching for the past seven. She holds a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) certification from Bhakti Barn Yoga and has completed a 300-hour RYT training from the Integral Yoga Institute.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and any preferred props.
This program is open to adults 18 and older. Space is limited and registration is encouraged.
This program is made possible with the support of The Friends of the Livingston Public Library.
