Finchley Church End Town Centre, Past, Present and Future

The walk is about 0.7 mile from St Mary -at-Finchley in Hendon Lane to Victoria Park. We will stop at 6 locations along the route to see some interesting buildings and architectural features and hear about Finchley's links with some famous people past and present. We will also hear about the influences of some local people on the development of Finchley Central and reflect on current and future developments. There is some seating at about halfway and toilets at the end in Victoria Park. Attendees can also join me for a coffee in the cafe in Victoria Park after the walk has finished.
