About this Event
Strengthen your organization's finances, improve budgeting and reporting, and gain confidence in fiscal stewardship.
Held in person at the NEW Center in Ann Arbor on April 22, 2027 from 9:00am - 12:00pm, this session is for nonprofit leaders, managers, organizers, and administrators who steward budgets and resources, often without formal financial training.
Through applied learning and peer connection, you'll strengthen your grasp of nonprofit finance fundamentals, learn to communicate financial information with clarity and confidence, and build practical skills rooted in equity, transparency, and long-term sustainability.
Financial Reports & Storytelling
Thursday, April 22, 2027 | 9:00am-12:00pm
Get hands-on with the financial statements that matter most: balance sheets, statements of activity, cash flow reports, and budget vs. actuals. You'll learn where these numbers come from, what they mean, and how to present them clearly so staff, board members, and partners understand the full picture.
Meet Megan Featherstone, the facilitator of these sessions, here.
