About this Event
Financial Foundation Day is an educational session designed to help you step back and look at the bigger picture.
This will be an in-person event with a hybrid approach, bringing together financial centres from different locations for a shared educational session while continuing the conversation locally in Calgary.
We'll break down some of the fundamental areas of personal finance and discuss how they can work together to create a stronger financial foundation.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the event.
What we'll cover
• Understanding your current financial position
• Cash flow, budgeting and managing debt
• Building savings and an emergency fund
• Protecting your income and family
• Understanding different approaches to saving and investing
• Retirement and long-term planning
• Building a plan around your goals, not just individual financial products
The goal isn't to tell you what you "should" buy or invest in.
It's about helping you understand the fundamentals, identify potential gaps, and know what questions to ask when making financial decisions.
