About this Event
The Las Vegas HBCU Alumni Clubs Financial Aid & Scholarship Workshop is a complimentary community event designed to help high school juniors, seniors, and their parents better understand the financial resources available to support higher education. On Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Pearson Community Center, the workshop will cover FAFSA, scholarships, grants, student loans, financial aid options, and college planning. Participants will have an opportunity to learn from knowledgeable professionals, ask questions, and receive resources to help families make informed decisions about paying for college. The goal is to increase access to higher education by ensuring students and parents have the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the college financial aid process successfully.
