This course is designed to provide an accessible introduction to the fundamentals of charity finance, helping participants build the confidence to understand and use financial information effectively. The session explores key financial tools and highlights the role sound financial management plays in achieving organisational goals and long-term sustainability.
Participants will learn the basics of budgeting and forecasting as well as develop skills to interpret financial information with greater confidence.
Delivered by Fiona Conway, Chief Executive of Crann Taic who brings extensive experience in charity finance and organisational development, supporting third sector organisations to build strong financial foundations and sustainable futures. Crann Taic is an Inverclyde-based charity that empowers organisations through specialist accountancy, finance, bookkeeping, payroll and IT support.
