Titled "Teaching VET Teachers and Learners about the EU's impact on citizens' daily lives", the Final Event Euro4VET aims to highlight the main results achieved after 3 years of this Jean Monnet initiative.Euro4VET aims to support Vocational Education and Training (VET) schools teaching key matters about the European Union (EU) in a more engaging, hands-on way.
The project has a clear pipeline of outputs aimed at teachers and learners of the VET sector, built on a step-by-step approach, including:
- EU-related training courses, with their respective learning materials translated into the languages of the partnership (EN, ES, FI, NMK, PT and TR);
- An EU Skills Virtual Competition, which winning students from the project's VET Schools were awarded a study visit to EU Insitutions, in Brussels, connecting learning with real contexts;
- The "3 Minutes of Europe" podcast, with learners-led episodes on key EU-related topics as an educational format for introducing EU themes in short bursts (also translated);
- "Europe Day" celebration kits, developed in 2024, 2025 and 2026;
- A learner-led talk show where the learners involved in the pilots of Euro4VET course had the chance to discuss, in livestream, the topics they addressed during the pilots;
- Articles focused on EU subjects, destined to VET teachers.
These tools developed in Euro4VET are perfect for project work, civic education activities or schools' celebrations about the EU and what it represents.
The Final Event Euro4VET will take place on October 23rd, in the scope of EfVET Annual Conference 2026, in Brussels (BE), and all partners of the project will be speaking at the session.
