Tilka (54 mins)
TILKA is an intimate portrait of five women who meet to create an original play with Seenaryo amid Lebanon’s collapse. The film weaves together each woman’s individual story with a collective narrative of displacement, motherhood and hope told through the play. It is Seenaryo’s debut documentary, directed by Myriam Geagea.
Seenaryo is a leading specialist in theatre and play-based learning with under-served communities in Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine. Seenaryo use theatre and play to transform education and support people to learn, lead, heal and thrive in their classrooms and communities.
A Day in the Tent (4 mins)
My Grandfather's Tales (2 mins)
AC4Pal was created to support the work of Haneen Koraz, an animator based in Gaza who has been running animation workshops with displaced children and women across the region.
Long before October 7th, Haneen was using animation to help children express their experiences. As the violence escalated, she has remained committed to her work in camps across Gaza, delivering 51 animation workshops that offer a vital creative lifeline. She also trained a team of women to carry the work forward, and to date has reached over 1,500 children and empowered more than 80 women and mothers. Haneen still runs these workshops and you can support her to keep going with them by donating here: https://bit.ly/GoFundMeOneOffDonation
