Evicting the American Dream: Film Screening & Community Conversation2:30 p.m. Sunday Oct. 11 | St. Andrew Presbyterian Church
What happens when home is no longer secure?
St. Andrew’s Act Justly ministry invites the community to a free screening of Evicting the American Dream, a documentary that centers the voices of children and families facing eviction and homelessness and examines the systems that can make safe, stable housing difficult to maintain.
Filmed in Dayton, Ohio, the documentary brings personal stories alongside a broader look at housing insecurity, historical inequities, and the lasting effects of eviction on families and children.
Stay after the film for a community conversation connecting those stories with housing and homelessness here in our own community.
Come to listen, learn, ask questions, and consider what it means to work toward a community where everyone has a safe place to call home.
