Dear Community Business Owner,
We are reaching out to ask for your support for someone who has spent his life answering the call when others needed help.
Juan Martin II is a firefighter and flight medic who has dedicated himself to helping and caring for others. Today, Juan is the one who needs our help.
Juan recently experienced a serious medical emergency, what started as a bowel obstruction turned into so much more. He has had multiple surgeries, complications with his intestines, leaks, infections, sepsis, drains, a wound vac, being intubated and on a ventilator, and so many days where we weren’t sure what the next day was going to look like.
He has spent weeks in the hospital, including several weeks in the ICU. His recovery will be long and challenging, and his family is facing the emotional and financial burden that comes with such an unexpected and extended hospitalization.
On November 7th, family, friends, firefighters, EMS personnel, the motorcycle community, and members of our El Paso community will come together at Cactus Owl Bar from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM for a benefit in Juan's honor.
We are asking local businesses to help us ANSWER THE CALL FOR JUAN by becoming a sponsor or donating an item, gift card, service, gift basket, or monetary contribution toward our fundraiser.
Your support will help Juan and his family during this difficult time and will allow our community to give back to a man who has spent his career giving to others.
