The Barony of Politarchopolis invites the Kingdom of Lochac to gather for a glorious weekend of pageantry, competition, feasting and fellowship at Fields of Gold XIV as the site of Spring Coronation ASLXI, from 13–15 November 2026.Held at the beautiful Bungendore Showground, just outside Canberra, this fully catered camping event combines the warmth and camaraderie of Fields of Gold with the grandeur of Coronation. We are deeply honoured to host the final court of Their Majesties King Aonghus mac Griogair mhic Raghnaill and Queen Ginevra Lucia di Namoraza, and to celebrate the investiture and first courts of Their Heirs.
Fields of Gold is renowned for its spirited tournaments across martial and non-martial pursuits alike. Participants are encouraged to test themselves in as many fields as possible in pursuit of the coveted title of Champs d’Or. Alongside the tournaments, attendees can expect music, arts, games, performances and a feast of exceptional splendour inspired by the joy of celebrating before the Crown of Lochac.
Set among shady trees and expansive green camping grounds, Bungendore Showground offers powered and unpowered camping for tents, caravans and larger rigs, with modern amenities and hot showers available throughout the weekend.
Above all, our vision is to create a welcoming, family-friendly and affordable event where newcomers and long-time members alike can share in the magic of the Society together.
