Accessible Bird Walk at Sheldon Lake 🦆 Join the Northern Colorado Bird Alliance for a relaxing, inclusive autumn birding outing at City Park on Friday, November 13th, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.Co-led by Sheila Webber and Amy Roush, this outing is specifically designed to welcome birders with physical disabilities, mobility considerations, or other access needs. We will explore the perimeter of Sheldon Lake along a smooth, flat, concrete path to discover a vibrant mix of resident songbirds, wintering waterfowl, and late season migrants. Whether you are an experienced bird watcher or looking to try birding for the very first time, we would love to have you join us. Because comfort and safety are top priorities, this outing is weather dependent, and we will monitor conditions closely to provide a cancellation notice 24 hours in advance if rain or snow is in the forecast.
We have plenty of additional accessibility details about the trail surface, parking, and amenities that we are eager to share. For specific accessibility questions or trail information, feel free to reach out to Sheila at [email protected] or Amy at [email protected].
Come enjoy a wonderful morning outdoors with our friendly birding community! Sign up for the Accessible Walk -https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C084CADAE2CA1FEC70-66842754-accessible
