Operation Christmas Child Volunteer Field Trip/Community ServiceJoin us on November 17th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM as we serve our community and children around the world through Operation Christmas Child at Hope City Church in Surprise, Arizona.
During this special volunteer opportunity, students and families will assist with receiving donated shoebox gifts and helping prepare them for shipment to children across the globe. This hands-on service experience gives students the opportunity to see how a simple act of kindness can make a lasting impact in the life of a child.
In addition to volunteering at the collection site, families who would like to participate more fully are invited to join us prior to the event to pack a gift-filled shoebox to donate. This provides students with a meaningful opportunity to think about generosity, compassion, and the joy of giving to others.
Through this experience, students will:
Learn the value of service and volunteerism
Participate in a global humanitarian effort
Experience the impact of generosity and kindness
Work together as a community to help children around the world
This is a wonderful opportunity for families to serve together, make a difference, and kick off the holiday season by focusing on giving rather than receiving.
