Fibrations 2027Fibrations returns to Fernwood for another year of celebrating Victoria's fibre community. Free and family-friendly, with booths, demos, and the kind of crowd that will happily explain what a niddy-noddy is if you ask.
Wander booths piled with hand-dyed yarn, tools, and finished work from local makers. Knitters will find plenty to dig through: colourwork, sock yarn, one-of-a-kind skeins you won't see twice. Watch spinners, weavers, and felters at their craft, and talk to the growers and dyers behind the Vancouver Island fibreshed if you want to know where your yarn actually comes from. This is the place to find Canadian-grown fibre. Food vendors keep the day going, so plan to stick around.
Whether you've been knitting for twenty years or you don't know a drop spindle from a doorknob, come see what your neighbours are making.
