Adoption may finalize in court—but the journey doesn’t end there.Parents who have adopted children from foster care often experience a sudden drop in services, resources, and community support once the adoption is complete. Many find themselves navigating trauma-informed parenting, attachment challenges, school systems, and emotional fatigue—often in isolation.
This post-adoption support group is a safe, judgment-free space created specifically for parents who have adopted from foster care. Whether your adoption was recent or years ago, you are welcome here.
What this group offers:
Connection with other parents who truly understand
A supportive space to share challenges, wins, and real-life experiences
Encouragement, validation, and community
Trauma-informed discussion grounded in empathy and lived experience
You do not need to have it all together.
You do not need to share if you’re not ready.
You just need to show up.
This group exists because parenting children from hard places requires ongoing support—and no one should have to do it alone.
Who should attend:
- Parents who have adopted children from foster care
- Parents seeking connection, understanding, and ongoing post-adoption support
Come as you are. You belong here.
