SAVE THE DATE! Working with the fetch is about patience, it is a lot like luring a wild animal to eat from your hand. It is about speaking to, encouraging, and healing the divine animal of our body. The animality of the witch-body and the connection of the blood to the Underworld are a big part of the speckled reputation of witchcraft. Here we will explore the contagious aspect of witchcraft. We will explore Folkloric Intelligence directly, person-to-person, and do so near Bangor, at a meeting place for a small but diverse group of practising magicians who come here to work ritual and connect with the spirits of the land. It is a landscape shaped through myth, through permaculture, rooted in plant knowledge, healing, and long relationship with place. One that I feel privileged to get to know and work in.
