About this Event
To celebrate the festive period, Peak Outdoor Community has teamed up with Make More Magic for the third year in a row for a Christmas Walk and Festive Wreath Workshop! Led by Emily from Peak Outdoor Community, the day will begin with a gentle walk, enjoying a nuture reserve on the edge of the Peak District with stunning views for very little effort!
On our return, we'll be treated with a well-deserved festive tipple as we will be joined by Mel, who will lead a festive wreath workshop. Here, you will spend the next two hours unleashing your inner creative and crafting a unique and beautiful festive wreath to get you into the holiday spirit and add a personal touch to your festive decor.

Distance: 4miles/6.5km
Level: Easy/Moderate/Challenging: mostly easy trails and footpaths. There may be some muddy areas that can be slippery this time of year. We have one short uphill section and some stiles.
Ascent: 50m
Who will be your guide?
I'm Emily, founder of Peak Outdoor Community, and a qualified Mountain Leader based in Glossop on the edge of the Dark Peak.
I've loved being outdoors since I was young, but hiking became a real passion in 2019 when I started exploring solo. Those adventures completely changed my life and inspired me to create Peak Outdoor Community to help other women discover the confidence, friendship and joy that comes from spending time outdoors.
Every walk is relaxed, welcoming and packed with stories about the history, geology and wildlife that make the Peak District such a special place.
