Learn magical, wintery folk songs.Come and get into the festive spirit with a bit of good old-fashioned singing in Widcombe Social Club's beautiful Wharf Room. All you need to bring is your voice! Everyone is welcome.

The songs we'll sing are folk songs and carols, and aren't the famous Victorian carols which dominate today. These songs are older, and connected to the land and to folk culture. They are not religious songs.
This workshop will be led by experienced choir leader Neil Johnson ( Heartwood Chorus, Deep Lock Folk).
It's for all people, beginners and experienced singers alike. There's no need to have a great voice, and no need to read music. Everything will be taught by ear, from scratch.
Doors will open at 6:45pm. Singing will start at 7pm. The bar will be open from 6:45 to 7pm if you want to grab a drink. Widcombe Social Club has step-free access, a lift and accessible loos.
